My werewolf proud never really let's me admit another type of kin. I just made an entry but couldn't bring myself up to post it :')

I think I need to read a little more into the species before I jump too quick into conclusions...

Don't get me wrong, I was, am, and will forever be a werewolf. I'm so extreme certain about it, that it's more to me than just a kintype, cuz my other type of "kins" are not nearly as intense. Being a werewolf IS who I am... The only thing that's unstable about that is the furcolor.

...But why is it so hard to admit that I actually could be a different type of caninekin. Cuz this one starts to make a lot of sense :')

I'm talking about Dingos. I knew of their existence, but completely forgot them, until insta just showed me a video. So I read a little into them and quite a few things add up to me:

Something that bothered me, when I said that I could be a shiba inu was that shibas are too small & the curled tail... The Dingo doesn't have that and still looks pretty similar to the shiba, the golden furcolor also almost adds up well, together with the white dot-eyebrows and the white chest and paws... they can live in every habitat and are mostly common in australia (as a kid I was obsessed with australia and had books over it and really wanted to move there. when I got older it turned into the rural areas of asia) They don't really bark much but rather communicate with a different variety of howls that almost sound exactly like wolf howls and even tho they can be kept as a pet, and were pets many many years ago, they'll never be completely tame and are unpredictable.

My main issue so far: the fur is too short (maybe my brain just confuses it with my wolf fur tho). But all the other stuff is weirdly accurate. They also live in tropical habitats with humid air and lots of rain... something I always was searching for a connection. well... there it is ':D

*sigh* yea... so... idk... I don't want to jump into conclusions yet but... since my blog is about all the otherkin stuff I felt like I should talk about it.

Being a werewolf with a canine-kintype is weird af and never feels right to me, I already regret this post while writing. like, the moment something adds up my wolfside says "nope that ain't it" and so I throw that thought instantly away

While making a TADC AU, I made an in-universe anime concept for the swaped male version of Gangle (Dangle) to like and obsessed over since he's like an otaku who loves foxes.

I'm going to flesh this concept out here.

Title of Anime: Kitsune no Yume/狐 の 夢

Kitsune no Yume is a cute Shoujo/Isekai anime about a Japanese girl named Fufu-Chan who lives in the middle of the beautiful japanese Countryside, on the outskirts of the small town called Shiroishi. She loves foxes, and volunteers as an assistant Zookeeper, aiming to one day work as one full time. She loved all the animals, but loved the foxes the most, especially the Fennec Foxes. Fufu-chan is a pure hearted sweetheart and a virgin, caring very little for relationships or school, preferring to be surrounded by her animal friends.

One day, She starts to have reoccurring dreams about meeting a fennec fox in the woods nearby her house.

She has this dream for weeks to the point of wanting to explore the forest nearby her house, eventually setting out to travel there with her family dog, a Shiba Inu named Bakana, because he was always doing silly little dances whenever she came home.

They walk deep into the forest, ending up lost. Her parents and siblings worry about her and put up missing posters frantically, despite her being gone only a few hours. They start informing authorities and searching for her in the nearby area, including the woods, any place they know she goes.

Meanwhile, Fufu sees the Fennec Fox in her dreams in the exact spot as she remembered in her dreams very deep in the woods in a spot far off the trails. Like a wil-of-the-wisp, the Fox runs off fast, teleporting in puffs over short distances, while leaving behind a set of floating blue flames that Fufu followed to a cave. When she arrives, the fennec fox awaits her there and speaks to Fufu, ensuring her that he means her no harm, asking for her help. Bakana sees the supernatural Fennec Fox as friendly, as did Fufu, as she was strongly intuitive and clairvoyant in interpreting dreams and understanding the thoughts and feelings of all of the animals she knew. She agrees to help The Fennec Fox, who introduces himself as Yanagi.

Fufu follows Yanagi back to his dimension through a cave portal where she learns of the Fox Demons from Yanagi. They were causing trouble in the spiritual world, and most of the Fox spirits have been defeated or are struggling to handle these rebellious spirits. These rebels hope to claim the afterworld from The Overlords, The Kitsunagi Shogunate, a family of Fennec Foxes who had fierce warriors to defend them at their castle. They were once human, and became Fox people as a way to have an advantage to win at war against rivaling clans back in the days of Feudal Japan, but were wiped out centuries ago, but since they made a pact with the Kitsunagi Fox Spirits, they became Fox people in the afterlife, pledging to defend their Fox Kin forever in return for the Fox Spirits granting them immortality, and Fox abilities when they were still in the human world.

They offer Fufu-Chan this power as well, since she is such an exceptional human being apart from the rest of society. She hesitates at first, not sure about how to feel about relinquishing a part of her humanity so quickly, asking if she could think about it while she helps them.

The Fox Empress, Kenko Mazonatsune, allowed Fufu her free will, offering her a lot of help with her fox subjects to handle the Demon Foxes.

Fufu teams up with Yanagi, with Bakana coming along with the Fox Samurai, and their kingdom launch a war in the spiritual realm against the Fox Demons lusting for power and chaos. They were defeated and imprisoned eventually, sent to a pocket dimension where they couldn't escape from, restoring peace and balance to the Fox's corner of the spiritual realm.

Upon returning to the Fox Clan's Castle, Fufu-Chan decided to accept the gift of being a Fennec Fox Girl from the Fox Empress, and before saying Goodbye to them and Yanagi, they show her how to transform between her disguises and how to live amongst the humans, desiring for her to bring many Fox children into the world so that they may have Fox spirits in the world again, as there were very few in the current day.

Fufu Chan leaves with Bakana, who is the only one who knows of her secret. She shifts into her disguise, turning her Ears and four tails into thin air, granting her full anonymity at any time and the appearance of a normal human.

She went on to be found as she was only gone for a few hours in the real world(time moves much slower in the spirit realm, which surprises Fufu-Chan at first), appearing normally to her parents and siblings as she mastered her ability to disguise quickly.

She would later become a zookeeper in her town after graduating high school and college, and would raise lots of money to preserve the lands nearby her area so that foxes would always be able to live there forever, along with the other animals as well. She would marry Yando, a millionare philanthropist whom had pledged to donate many of his funds to help the cause, as well as having 5 children with Fufu, whom all inherited the Fox power from her, (Yando didn't recieve her gift, but was granted a special exception, as he would be offered the opportunity to become a fox person with his wife after death, a gift for his undying love to his wife and children).

After death, they joined the Fox Clan in the spiritual realm, as they watched their grandchildren and great grandchildren become integrated into society, going in to own the zoo, and 1000s of acres of land preserved not only by them, but also having some of it designated national parks by the Japanese Government so that they're never demolished.

Let's talk about my Gorou kin!

I don't really know if I kin the original version or not but I have more curly hair than what I have in the game and a longer tail too but it is often curly like a Shiba Inu's tail. (I drew myself like I remember!) I remember things like how my tail is messy when I wake up, so I have to brush it a lot. My fur isn't soft on my tail but is soft on my ears!

I am aromantic (my first kin who is aro, yay!), but I experience queer platonic attraction with maybe several people. (With one that I didn't even meet in the game...)

So now, let's talk about people!

I care a lot about Kazuha, like I want a QPR with him so bad, but I don't know how to ask him... We talk a lot and we are very close. I remember stargazing with him, and it was so sweet ♡

I remember Tighnari. We are close too, like very close! I don't know what kind of relationship we have but I remember that we are quite intimate with each other (we often sleep in the same bed, I remember holding his sleeve as we walk together or even snuggle close to him to feel warmer so yeah, he's not a regular friend!)

Cyno! Well, I know him too, and he's a cool guy, I like him. But, he's intimidating... I want to be as cool as him.

Itto is just a guy I cross sometimes, and I honestly find him so stupid that it's quite comic. (Sorry for those who ship us-)

Kokomi is a great friend, and I feel that I come talk to her about Kazuha often! She gives good advice.

I'm also a friend with Heizou, and I remember Scaramouche. I think it's because Scara and Kazu know each other's and so I met him.

i tend to be partial to mixed breeds and adopting dogs of nebulous origins (Emi is a ‘terrier’ who was either two or three when i adopted her, depending on what paperwork you’re looking at). please adopt whatever you find at your nearest shelter. whatever looks the saddest and most forlorn, that’s why i picked Emi.

5) siberian husky

sled dogs! doing hard travel work in the snow! most of them are descended from hero dog togo! their eyes come in either a warm brown or soul-pierce pale blue or both! they are crazy pups who will punish any owner who isn’t prepared to care for a dog bred to be harnessed with its kin to run miles and miles across the ice and snow! they’re what you’re actually visuallizing when you think ‘wolf’.

4) shiba inu

are they the current fashionable breed? certainly. do they still look charismatic? absolutely. i’ve never pet one, but i assume it’s like rubbing the hair on the back of your neck just after you got a haircut. they seem like goofballs, and who doesn’t need a goofball in their life?

3) border collie

i have romantic notions about shepherding. out in the hills of scotland, clad in a woolen jumper and a cap, whistling to send this lovely breed to and fro to keep the ambulatory clouds in check. border collies are also at the top of ‘intelligent breed’ lists, and i appreciate intelligence. plus they have the ideal dog shape. if they were smaller, they’d top the list, easy.

2) tie: australian shepherd and australian cattle dog

christine, my childhood dog (wearing the hat in my avatar), was either half-shepherd or half cattle dog (the rest of her was chihuahua and pomeranian, which, tragically, are often poorly socialized). working dogs are great and important, regardless, and the cattle dog is certainly having their moment with recent children’s animation,

1) jack russell terrier

i loved wishbone growing up, i love dogs that are just shorter than the sitting part of the couch so they can’t immediately get in your face if you’re prone, and look at the ear flop! ear flops are important. and they are the perfect size to pick up and hug. Emi might be a full or part jack russell, i’m not sure. but my love of wishbone is a flame that will always burn, so jack russell terriers are the best breed.
